Working in partnership with our clients, Engineering Consultants provides innovative building design solutions. We are focused on consistently delivering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering documents on time. Our passion for quality control and accuracy results in fewer change orders and delays during construction, which directly impacts our clients’ project budgets. Additionally, our in-house design-build team provides bid quality documents for design-build contractors.
Our professional engineers have mechanical and electrical licenses in many states across the United States, and we regularly add new licenses as needed.
We are committed to delivering results for our clients by providing engineering services that match each client’s needs.
We prioritize engineering quality control to guarantee the reliability and performance of our projects.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination identifies and resolves conflicts between architectural and engineering disciplines before construction begins. We believe that pre-construction coordination is critical for a successful project.
According to a 2018 SmartMarket Report by McGraw Hill Construction, which surveyed 727 contractors in ten countries, 74% of contractors report a positive return on investment for BIM. The report also states that the top project-related benefits resulting from BIM are reduced errors and omissions and reduced construction rework, both of which have an immediate positive impact and contribute to a strong return on investment. Reduced construction cost, reduced project duration, and improved safety round out the top five project benefits of BIM.
In addition to MEP engineering services, Engineering Consultants has design professionals who are experts in refrigeration, fire alarm, and machine design; this gives our clients convenient access to a full package of engineering services for a typical building design.
Our fire alarm team includes a certified NICET IV designer with 20+ years of experience. We support customers with a wide range of projects, ranging in size from small tenant improvements to large industrial buildings.
Our refrigeration system design experience includes system layout, sizing of compressors, condensers, and refrigeration lines, controls, leak detection, and dimensioned case drain plans.
We have over 35 years of mechanical machine design, including drive train design, gear design and selection, clutch and drive selection, static and dynamic load analysis, stress analysis, fatigue analysis, thermal analysis, material selection, failure analysis, hydraulic system design, and component selection.
We currently hold Mechanical and Electrical Professional Engineering licenses in the states highlighted in blue. These are subject to change. Please contact us today to see if our current licensing meets your project needs.
