The Postal Service has added state of the art regional sorting facilities to handle large volumes of mail. These facilities have large shipping and receiving areas, with offices and support rooms included. With the majority of mail sorted automatically, each USPS project requires a dedicated computer room and a very flexible telecommunications network. Each building has an intricate badge identification and security system, including automated locks and surveillance cameras.

ECI continues to design and provide construction support for the U.S. Postal Service.
